Combat: Assasult Horizon is the first Ace Combat console game to take place
on the real Earth rather than on what long time fans have dubbed “strangereal”,
the setting for many previous Ace Combat games (Ace Combat: Joint assault was
the actual first Ace Combat game featured on Earth). The game takes place over
a number of locations, including: Washington D.C., Miami, Dubai, Russia, East
Africa, and The Middle East. The Developers used satellite imagery to
accurately render the real-life locations, making it possible for players to
pick out actual buildings and locations while playing the game.
Dubai, East Africa, Moscow, Miami, and also
Washington D.C. are available in multiple multiplayer modes alongside Paris.
Also Tokyo and Honolulu as downloadable maps, as well.
